NOx sensor

The NOx sensor is used to measure nitrogen oxides. By monitoring the NOx concentration in the exhaust, the ECU controls the urea injection rate of the SCR system, thereby reducing NOx emissions to meet the relevant national emission standards. The sensor’s ceramic chip is made of YSZ, which exhibits excellent electrolyte properties at high temperatures. By precisely controlling oxygen pumping between the internal chambers of the ceramic chip, the sensor accurately measures the NOx concentration in the exhaust. NOx sensors are primarily used in passenger and commercial vehicles equipped with diesel engines.

PM sensor

The exhaust particulate sensor is installed downstream of the diesel particulate filter in the exhaust pipe and operates on a resistance-measurement principle. When particulates from the exhaust adhere between the two electrodes, a conductive circuit is formed, generating an electric current. By measuring this current, the sensor provides feedback on the DPF’s particulate loading, and the sensing element is regenerated through heating.

Wide-range oxygen sensor

The wide-range oxygen sensor measures the oxygen concentration in engine exhaust by detecting the current generated by the migration of oxygen ions within the zirconia oxygen-pumping unit, enabling the ECU to precisely control fuel injection timing and thereby enhancing engine control accuracy.

Hubei Danrui New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.

Hubei Danrui New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of RMB 50 million, is headquartered in Danjiangkou City, Hubei Province. Established in 2011, the company collaborates with the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology on industry–university–research cooperation, focusing on the R&D, technological breakthroughs, and industrialization of nitrogen-oxygen sensors—the core components of exhaust gas aftertreatment systems.

Danrui Technology has assembled a team led by two professors as technical leaders, established an academician and expert workstation, and independently secured 40 patents. It is the first domestic enterprise to achieve mass production of nitrogen–oxygen sensors, thereby breaking the market monopoly held by foreign industry giants and filling a critical gap in the market.

On the afternoon of June 29, 2018, the inaugural Shiyan City Workers’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which also served as the Shiyan regional qualifier for the first Hubei Provincial Workers’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, was held at Hubei Automotive Industry College. Shen Xueqiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, head of the United Front Work Department, and chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, attended the event and officially declared the competition open. New pillars of China’s economic growth are rising rapidly. Recent data show that the country’s economic structural adjustment and the transition from old to new growth drivers are accelerating. Value added in strategic emerging industries and high-tech sectors, as well as corporate profits, have maintained double-digit growth for several months running.
